The Fly Albury Story

Albury City Council own and operate Albury Airport, and are investing significantly in the asset to ensure it is one of Australia’s premier airports. It’s Aviation, Marketing and Brand Strategy has set a flight path to stimulate passenger growth.

The results to date have been promising. Albury Airport has developed a new brand, launched a new website, and initiated its FlyAlbury campaign to elevate the airports awareness, perception and use in the local community. This work builds on our existing airline partnerships and has established a fourth airline JETGO. The collective impact of these activities has resulted in passenger numbers increasing 7% during the 2016 calendar year.

Albury Airport is an important gateway that assists the region in the facilitation of economic growth, job creation, investment, and resident and visitor attraction. Albury Airport plays a vital role in providing safe and reliable air services for Albury Wodonga, the Murray River and Northeast Victoria to make the region more accessible and connected than ever.
