AlburyCity has engaged aviation specialists, the Airport Group, to develop a long term masterplan for the Albury Airport. In developing the plan, the consultants have engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including local residents and visitors to the region on what they see as the priorities for Albury Airport.
AlburyCity is now seeking submissions on the final draft Albury Airport Master Plan 2018 which will remain on exhibition until 24 August, 2018.
The final draft of the Albury Airport Master Plan 2018 aims to safeguard the development of Albury Airport and make recommendations for future operations, taking into consideration the role of the airport and the commitment of Albury City Council to drive the economic and social development for the Albury/Wodonga region. The 15 year Master Plan is designed to ensure the airport has capacity to grow and develop to meet regional demand and capitalise on its economic development potential.
The document is on public exhibition for a period of 28 days in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
