Travelling with an assistance animal

Our airport welcomes assistance animals inside our terminal - you'll just need to make sure you carry your proof of identity documents. When travelling with an assistance animal, you'll also need to advise the airline at the time of booking flights.

Security screening and clearance

Assistance animals are required to proceed through security screening and clearance.

Security screening guidelines always allow an assistance animal to remain with the person during the passenger screening. Screening of the assistance animal may involve a physical search including objects attached to the animal such as the harness, collar or bags. Items that can be readily removed from an assistance animal will be subjected to x-ray screening.

Please note domestic pets aren't permitted within the terminal.
