Security screening

All travellers, and visitors will need to undergo security checks - where required, we'll provide an alternate method of screening.

The screening process

For safety, all travellers, and visitors entering our departures lounge will need to undergo security checks. To let you know, as part of this process, you'll need to walk through the metal detector frame without assistance.

Alternative screening method

Alternatively, if you use a wheelchair or other form of mobility assistance device, our screening officer will scan you (over clothing) with a handheld detector. For privacy, a room adjacent to the screening area is available - just let the screening officer know if you'd like to use it.

Let us know

Please advise the screening officer if you have a condition or need for special assistance.

If you have a special medical condition or medical implants or prosthesis that cannot pass through security (such as pacemakers or cochlear implants), please advise the screening officer.
