Flying drones in Albury

The drone safety rules vary depending on whether you are flying commercially or for fun. Let us help you understand what you need to know.

Drones are not allowed within 3nm (5.5kms) of an airport, or above 400ft elsewhere. The Civil Aviation Safety Autority (CASA) mandates the use of UAV/RPA’s and model aircraft in regard to the proximity of aerodromes. You must not fly your drone in a way that creates a hazard to another aircraft, person or property. Watch and read these resources below to learn to drones rules in Australia.
